1. This Shipping Policy (Shipping Policy) applies to all purchases from YBS Youngbloods Pty Ltd (YBS or us) and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions (Terms). Any capitalised terms not defined in this Shipping Policy are defined in the Terms.

2. You agree to comply with all Terms when accessing or using our Services, including this Shipping Policy.

3. Delivery Address

3.1 All orders will be shipped pursuant to the delivery details provided by you at check out. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate.

3.2 If you have provided incorrect delivery details, please contact us as soon as possible, within the first 10 minutes after and we will use best endeavours to update the delivery address. After this time, we will unfortunately be  unable to amend the address. Please note that we will not be liable for non-delivery or delayed parcels due to incorrect details and you may be charged a re-delivery fee if the Order needs to be re-delivered.

3.3 Your Order may be fulfilled from multiple locations at different times depending on stock availability. You will not be charged any more for delivery in this instance.

3.4 Delivery charges are calculated at check-out and you are deemed to have accepted such charges by proceeding with your Order.

4. Delivery Timeframes

 4.1 All shipping by YBS is conducted via Australia Post. Please note from Australia Post 2021, Express Post has been indefinitely suspended. Express Post remains Australia Post’s fastest postal delivery option, but next-business-day delivery is not currently guaranteed by Australia Post.

4.2 We will endeavour to process your orders within 1-3 business days from the date that you place an Order, however please contact us or check your Order tracking email for estimated delivery time frames. Please note that during major sales events and holiday periods, we may take additional time to prepare and process your Order.

4.3 As a guide, please see the below details for shipping estimates.

4.4 Delivery timeframes are estimates and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any delay in arranging delivery or delayed delivery of an Order. For example, deliveries to some areas may be significantly delayed as a result of COVID-19.

4.5 While we will endeavour to deliver the Goods to you as quickly as possible, sometimes there may be delays that are outside of our control. You acknowledge and agree that delivery timeframes are estimates only and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any delay in arranging delivery or delayed delivery of an Order.

4.6 Order delivery times are currently extended due to our delivery partners experiencing delays. As a result, your Order may take longer to arrive. Please allow 10 business days before contacting us regarding your Order. We thank you for your patience.

5. Acceptance of Delivery

5.1 Signature on delivery

(a) In some circumstances, a signature is required on Delivery. You warrant and represent to us that any person at your nominated Delivery address that accepts Delivery of the Goods is authorised by you to accept such delivery. If you or a person at your nominated Delivery address refuses to sign a relevant delivery document, this will be taken as a refusal to accept Delivery.

(b) If you are unable to take Delivery of the Goods as arranged, if no one is available at the nominated delivery address or if the nominated Delivery address cannot reasonably be accessed, the Delivery provider may leave a collection card with instructions for you to collect the Goods.

(c) In these circumstances, we will be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for redelivery and/or storage. You agree that you will still accept re-delivery of the Goods even if they are delivered on a different date or time.

(d) If the Goods are undeliverable for any reason, it will be returned to the depot and a card will be left for you to contact the courier and arrange a second delivery or pick up. If the Goods are not collected by you or a second delivery attempt is not successful, then the Goods will be returned to YBS and we may charge another shipping fee to redeliver the Goods.

5.2 Contactless delivery or authority to leave

(a) For Australian deliveries, Australia Post will not obtain or require your signature on delivery of your parcel, and it may leave parcels at your delivery address, either in the delivery location requested by you or some other safe location selected at Australia Post’s sole discretion, without obtaining a signature from any person; and, if your parcel is delivered in the manner described in paragraph above, the parcel will be deemed to have been delivered at the time the parcel is scanned as delivered and left at the delivery address.

(b) If we or the Delivery provider, in their absolute discretion, deems the area unsafe, YBS may refuse delivery and charge you reasonable fees for storage and re-delivery or cancel your Order and retain any delivery fees paid.

(c) To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you or to any other person for any loss or damage that may be suffered, as a result of any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, by or on behalf of Australia Post in relation to the loss or damage to any parcel, including, but not limited to:

(i) where it is left at the delivery address;
(ii) where it is left at a delivery address in a manner that is inconsistent with the delivery instructions specified; or
(iii) where it is not left at the delivery address, and requires collection from a post office or depot;
except to the extent that such loss or damage as a direct result of our fraud or wilful misconduct.

(d) Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, you acknowledge and agree that YBS will not be liable or responsible if the Goods are lost, stolen or if they are damaged due to weather or other external force, including where a Good is sensitive to temperature or sunlight, or contains perishable items, once a Good is Delivered or marked as 'delivered'.

6. Delivery, risk and title

6.1 Delivery of the Goods is taken to occur at the time that the Goods are left at, or delivered to, your nominated address, by YBS or Australia Post, even if you are not present at the address.

6.2 Risk and title of the Goods passes to you upon Delivery.

7. Lost or missing orders

7.1 If you have not received your order within 14 days after placing your Order, please contact us at sales@youngbloods.co.

7.2 For lost or missing packages, we may provide you with information of the Delivery provider and a tracking number associated with your Goods so that you may contact them directly to track your package.

7.3 We do not accept any responsibility for lost or missing packages.

8. Domestic Shipping within Australia

8.1 Express Post/Priority Post or Standard e Parcel Post

(a) All Australian orders are sent via Australia Post’s Express/Priority Post or Standard e Parcel Post, per the Domestic Shipping Rates as set out in clause 3.2 below.

(b) When your order is dispatched, you will be notified, and a tracking number will be provided to you to track your delivery. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address that you provide upon checkout.

(c) Our domestic shipping is left in a safe place at your address. If you don’t want the items left unattended we recommend the use of AusPost parcel lockers. More information can be found here

(d) Please note that knives cannot be shipped to South Australia, Victoria or the Australian Capital Territory.

9. International Shipping Generally

9.1 Signatures are required on delivery for Goods shipped internationally.

9.2 All international shipping is via Australia Post to the postal service of the country of origin. Please Track the parcel with your origin parcel service once parcel arrives in your country. The same tracking number applies.

9.3  Please note that international postage remains significantly delayed as a result of COVID-19. For more information click here.

9.4 Please note that spearguns, spears, reels and lines cannot be shipped outside of Australia.

10. United States & Canada

10.1 Orders to the United States are sent by Standard or Express Delivery. 

10.2 Shipping is based on the weight and dimensions of the goods in your order, as per the tables below. 

10.3 International orders to the United States and Canada are generally delivered within 6 business days for capital cities and major metro areas. Regional areas require longer delivery times.  

 10.4 When your order is dispatched, you will be notified and a tracking number will be provided to you to track your delivery. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address provide by you upon checkout. Once the parcel arrives in the US or Canada please track with country of origin postal services.

 10.5 Both International Standard Postage and International Express Postage require a signature upon delivery.

14. Rest of the World

14.1 We've been working hard and orders can now be sent internationally to most countries! Please choose the option that suits you best: International Standard or International Express. In some regions we can only use International Express due high fraud levels requiring the need for a signature.

14.2 The shipping costs for these delivery options are calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order. There is an approximate calculator at the cart that you can use to indicate the costs before you proceed to checkout.

14.3 Please note that while we endeavour to ship to all countries in the future, we do not currently do so. You will be told at checkout if we do not ship to your address.

14.4 Please note that if the order amount is deemed too large for our shipping options additional costs may be applied.

9.5 International Standard

This option is ideal if you want your order to be trackable and if your order is non urgent. Orders can be up to 20kg and delivery, depending on customs clearance. When your order is dispatched, you will be notified and a tracking number will be provided to you to track your delivery. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address that you provide upon checkout. International Standard Postage requires a signature.

9.6 International Express

This option allows for trackable orders at a faster delivery time than International Standard delivery. Orders may weigh up to 20kg and a tracking number will be provided to you upon dispatch of your order. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address that you provide upon checkout.

International Express Postage requires a signature.

16. What happens if I used the wrong address for my order?

16.1 Please contact us at sales@youngbloods.co immediately so that we can try to update your address prior to having your order dispatched. Please note sometimes we cannot update your address as the order may have already been processed at the warehouse.

16.2 For Australian orders - If your order has been dispatched please contact Australia Post and see if they can update your address. In the early stages this is sometimes possible https://auspost.com.au/receiving/manage-deliveries-in-transit

16.3 If your item has been sent/delivered to an incorrect address that was entered at the checkout it may be returned to us or held at a post office until it is returned to us. Once this return to sender is complete, we will contact you and provide you with a full refund minus postage costs, back to your original method of payment. Unfortunately, not all parcels with the wrong address placed on them return and we can’t be responsible for any costs incurred. Please make sure to use the right address at check out.

16.4 Transit times quoted here are estimated in business days and exclude local public holidays. Transit times quoted are subject to delays due to weather holiday rush times and custom delays. During busy times in the shop shipping may be delayed.

16.5 Please note that YBS Youngbloods does not hold or accept any responsibility for packages that have been deemed lost, stolen, stuck in transit, or delivered. We may not issue refunds or store credit for packages that the courier confirms as lost in transit or delivered. Please contact your local postal service to locate your order.

17. International Taxes

Please note that we are not responsible for the payment of Customs or VAT Fees. This fee varies and is determined by each country. By processing an order, you agree and acknowledge you will pay any Customs and VAT fees that may occur.
